Lanes Cars have been
looking for in an ideal location for displaying our fully prepared
Classic Jaguars for the past 3 years. A location which could
offer our clients relaxed and informal surroundings when viewing,
but more importantly when wishing to test drive their chosen car on
a combination of roads offering both sedate country lanes to
fast 'A' roads in the heart of Staffordshire. We are situated in one of
the most picturesque locations in the Midlands nestled between the famous Cathedral
City of Lichfield and
Tutbury with the remains of a royalist castle which was ordered to
be dismantled by Oliver Cromwell after the English Civil War. Also locally you will
find Ashbourne which is very near to Dove Dale and Buxton the
world famous spa town in the Derbyshire Dales. Happy Birthday XK120!
The Jaguar XK120 will be celebrating her 60th Birthday later this year, with many celebrations planned throughout the year many of which we will be actively be involved in. One of the main events is a three day event at Goodwood from the 8th-10th August. The event will include many exhibitions and activities to commemorate the beginning of the XK dynasty. We will displaying a Jaguar XK120 as well as an aluminium XK120 bodyshell's including a compertion XK120 bodyshell, there will are be chassis's and a selection of XK parts. We will also have 2 or 3 E Type Jaguars on display and we look forward to seeing you on our stand no:- 2 & 3. Jaguar E
