XK120

The legendary XK120 aptly named so by Sir William Lyons because of its advertised top speed of 120 mph courtesy of the famously powered 6 cylinder engine which would continue to be used in all other Jaguar models until 1986. The X was because the engine was experimental  and K was the sequence.  The car was originally launched in 1948 at Earls Court Motor Show London England and caused an absolute sensation.
